Kulturzentrum GEMS is a socio-cultural center in Singen, in the south of Germany. It offers a diverse cultural program: cabaret, theater, cinema, concerts, readings and much more. In addition, it also allows groups from the urban society to organize events at the house. Kulturzentrum GEMS has had a very diverse theater department for many years. Here, theater work is realized with children and young people as well as with intergenerational groups. Theater work with amateurs takes place as well as theater projects with professional actors.
The goal of the theater work is to enable cultural education and cultural participation for people of all ages and backgrounds. At the same time, it is about dealing with issues that affect people’s lives.
