Universität Klagenfurt

The University of Klagenfurt was founded in 1970 and is located in Austria’s southernmost state, Carinthia. Since 2004 it has also been called the Alpen-Adria-Universität – in line with its self-image as a hub for knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer in the centre of the region. Around 12,000 people study at the University of Klagenfurt. 1,500 employees teach & research at the university or work in administration.
